Announcement of Region Match Committee

We are very pleased to announce the bowlers who have been appointed to the inaugural Match Committee of the Metro North-East region.

The Committee will initially comprise four members:

• Billie Maas (Belrose) as Chair
• Chris Carey (St Ives)
• Kate Walsh (Seaforth)
• Sean Semler (Mosman)

We believe these members bring a diversity of backgrounds and experience to our Regional administration, and we thank them all for being prepared to help deliver the Bowls NSW competition program at Regional level.

We received several Expressions of Interest for this Committee and thank all those who were prepared to volunteer their time and skills to the service of the sport.

We also acknowledge and thank all former committee members of the Zone 9, North Shore District and Manly-Warringah District for their commitment to the sport in our area over many years, in particular, Bob Abdallah for his time and commitment to lawn bowls administration.

Expressions of Interest for the Selection, Umpires and Juniors committees of Metro North-East will be called for at a later date.
