Following State Match Committee approval for the Metro North-East Women’s Pennant season, Region Match has conducted an open draw for each Division.

Duties of Pennant Side Managers
PLEASE NOTE:
- All Women’s Pennant games are scheduled for Tuesdays, starting on 10 March 2026. Trial Ends at 9.30am and start of play 9.50am (half an hour later at Mosman).
- If you wish to swap the Home/away status of any game, alter the start time, or change the day of play for a “home game”, you will need your opponent’s agreement.
- For any alteration to the schedule, both clubs need to sign a Match Start Variation Form and the “home club” should submit that to Region Match ahead of the match for approval.
- If the opponent does not agree to change the day of play/start time/etc, the match is to be played on the “default” day & time set by the Region.
- The Division 1 competition has 6 sides playing in one section over 5 rounds, with 2 games “at home” and 2 games “away” by random draw, plus one game to be played at a “neutral venue”. (5 Rounds in total). Clubs will be notified of the “neutral venue” in coming weeks.
- Divisions 2 & 3 each have two Sections of 4 sides, playing a “home & away” series over 6 Rounds. The Section winners will play A “knock-out” Final on Tuesday 12 May.
- Division 4 has 7 sides who will play each other once in a single section. (6 matches plus one “bye” per side, played over 7 Rounds.) Round 7 is scheduled to be played on Tuesday 28 April 2026.
- If any Rounds are washed out, the “rain dates” are:
– Thur 16 April
– Tues 28 April (except Div 4, who are scheduled to play their final game that day), and
– Thursday 30 April.

- All Men’s Pennant games are scheduled for Wednesdays, starting on 11 March 2026. Trial Ends at 12.30pm and start of play 12.50pm.
- If you wish to swap the Home/away status of any game, alter the start time, or change the day of play for a “home game”, you will need your opponent’s agreement.
- For any alteration to the schedule, both clubs need to sign a Match Start Variation Form and the “home club” should submit that to Region Match ahead of the match for approval.

- Divisions 1 & 2 are combining in a multi-Division competition, playing a “home-and-away” series over 6 rounds. (Each side plays 4 matches and has 2 “byes” ).
- Division 3 has 6 sides who will play each other once in a single section, played over 5 Rounds. Each side has 2 games “at home” and 2 games “away” by random draw, plus one game played at a “neutral venue”. (The “neutral venue” will be advised in coming weeks.)
- Division 4 has 7 sides who will play each other once in a single section. (6 matches plus one “bye” per side, played over 7 Rounds.) Round 7 is scheduled to be played on Wednesday 29 April 2026.
