2024-25 State Mixed Pairs Qualifying
We played the Sectional rounds in the State Mixed Pairs for our Region on Saturday in seriously unpleasant conditions. We had 3 Sections at Pittwater RSL, 2 Sections at Harbord and 2 Sections at Belrose.
The Section winners were:
- Virginia Longfellow/Mark Alexander (Harbord)
- John Malone/Lynden Malone (Harbord)
- Jane Gibson/John Churchyard (Harbord)
- Hannah Salatnay/Jason Salatnay (Belrose)
- Brian Gordon/Chris Gordon (Harbord)
- Karyn Murphy/Lucas Shankland (Harbord)
- Midori Matsuoka/Mike Smith (Belrose)
The 7 Section winners all played in the knock-out qualifying rounds on Sunday at Belrose giving us our 2 Metro North-East Bowls qualifiers for the State Mixed Pairs finals.
Congratulations to Midori Matsuoka and Mike Smith from Belrose and also Virginia Longfellow and Mark Alexander from Harbord who are the two qualifiers from the Metro North-East Region.
We wish them all the best at the State Finals next March in Ballina.
