2027 Metro North-East Bowls Program Released

With the Bowls NSW Conditions of Play for 2027 having been released, we now have approval to release our Region Calendar for 2027.

The new Bowling Season begins on 1 January 2027 and runs until 31 December 2027.

Features of our Region program are:

  • Open Pennant remains as a 6-week season, in the same “time-slot” as last season. (It is possible that some Grades will be run as a 7-week season if entry numbers do not fit with a 4-sides-per-section home-and-away series.)
  • Single Gender Pennant (Men’s and Women’s) remain as midweek competitions, in the same time-slot as last season (concurrent with the Open Pennant season).
  • Region championships (as qualifying for the State Championships) will be run in the first half of the year (two championships before the Pennant season, one after the Pennant season, and the Singles on Sundays during the Pennant season).
  • The other competitions run direct by Bowls NSW are in the second half of the year, as usual.
