Congratulations to Harbord on winning the Metro North-East Open Pennants Grade 5 flag. Congratulations also to Newport who were runners-up.
Grade 6
Congratulations to Asquith on winning the Metro North-East Grade 6 Pennant, played at Lane Cove BC. In Round 3 of the Finals series, the two top-placed sides battled it out, with Asquith too strong for St Ives in the closing stages of the match, picking up 6s on two of the rinks to seal a big-board win.
Grade 7
Congratulations to the Seaforth (White) side who have won the Grade 7 flag at the play-offs hosted by West Pymble Bowling Club. Spectators were treated to great bowling and, with the other Rd 3 game between Turramurra and Belsose on a knife-edge, top position on the Finals ladder was never certain.
Sean Semler from the Match Committee presented the flag and medallions to the winners Seaforth, and runners-up medallions to Harbord.
Good luck to all our flag winners when they compete in the State Finals in June.
