2024-25 State Men's Fours Regional Champions.
2024-25 Region Fours Championships
We held the Metro North-East Region Fours Championships over the weekend of 24 – 25 August at Harbord and West Pymble Bowling Clubs. Thanks to all the volunteers who made it all possible and thanks also to Harbord Bowling Club and West Pymble Bowling Club for providing the greens and the hospitality.
In the State Men’s final, congratulations go to Derek Woodstone, Paul Somers, Scott Sheppard and Shane Morris (Dee Why) who defeated Paul Brittain, Mark Osborne, Steve Smith and Col Green (Harbord) 24 – 11.
In the State Women’s final, congratulations go to Dale Nuttall, Suzi Fischer, Midori Matsuoka and Patricia Tan (Belrose) who defeated Jane Gibson, Linda Warder, Chris Gordon and Virginia Longfellow (Harbord) 22 – 17.
In the Senior Men’s final, congratulations go to John Malone, Peter Crossingham, Terry Warder and Mark Alexander (Harbord) who defeated Craig Redwood (sub: Mark Delia), Graham Tetstall, Harry Archer and Paul Leckey (Harbord) 15 – 10
In the Open Reserve final, congratulations go to Roslin Murphy, Heather Clemens, Yvette Semler and Sean Semler (Mosman) who defeated Jonathan Chapman, Tristan Lau, Warwick Bridge and Frank Spanyik (Chatswood) 20 – 16.
We wish the winners all the best at the State Championships next March.

The Senior Women’s Fours Final was held on 17 July at Harbord in near perfect conditions. Congratulations to Jan Chad, Sue McFadden, Pat Mitchell and Clare Turner (Dee Why), who overcame the Seaforth team of Mary Hastings, Kate Walsh, Sharyn Hudson and Pat Garousse 20-11 to win the Final today.
Good luck to the Dee Why team for State Finals in March 2024.
